Ingredients

  • cornbread, crumbled2 cup
  • egg yolks, beaten6
  • salt1 tsp
  • black pepper, freshly ground1 tsp
  • sage, fresh; thinly sliced2 1/2 tsp
  • apple jelly1/2 cup
  • dried apples, finely diced1/2 cup
  • butter, melted1/4 cup
  • walnuts, roughly chopped1/2 cup

Method 3 steps

  1. Combine all ingredients, and transfer to a greased baking dish.

  2. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes or until browned on top. If not browned, place under the broiler until browned.

  3. Serve with roast turkey, cranberry sauce, yams, and all the other fixins.
