Frog's Eye Salad
Frog's eye salad is a dessert salad common in the American midwest.
Ingredients

- acini di pepe pasta1 package
- crushed pineapple, 30–40 oz2 can
- mandarin oranges, 30–40 oz2 can
- egg yolks3
- granulated sugar, 240 ml1 cup
- imitation whipped topping1 tub
- miniature marshmallows1/2 package

Method 5 steps
Cook pasta in a large saucepan. Drain and rinse pasta.
Drain cans of pineapple and oranges, reserving juice.
Mix juices, sugar and egg yolks in a medium saucepan. Bring to full rolling boil, stirring frequently until thickened.
Pour hot sauce over pasta. Cool and refrigerate overnight.
Add fruit and mix well, then fold in whipped topping and marshmallows.
